This model is genuinely machine washable since is completely made using the TET-KNIT fabric; a special weaved fabric developed for the renowned Japanese company TORAY, Inc. creators of the famous Tetrex fabric. This TET-KNIT fabric has excellent properties as:

Stain-resistant
Another advantage is the use of I-LEATHER on the Tenouchi (palms), without having to worry for any leather cracking from the palm even after several washes I-LEATHER has become very popular between Kendoka and Bogu craftsmen more than any synthetic deerskin or even Clarino Leather for its special features as:
