This Iaito at first sight looks like an O Dachi, but this Shikomi version features two 54 cm length hidden blades.
The first part of the Saya is wrapped in Cha Tho Maki (Brown bamboo wrapped) followed in Kuro Ishime (black matte finish) which together with the blackened fittings all over Koshirae, makes a particular combination and offers a unique style to this Shikomi Deluxe O Dachi. The Tsuka part, which actually becomes a Saya is wrapped in black cotton in Katatemaki style.
