Introduced in Japan by Buddhist monks in the 14th century, Sumi-e 墨絵 can be translated as a black ink painting offering a powerful and elegante contrast with the white washi (japanese paper)

A strong Tora (Tiger) is featured in a Japanese style fabric resembling Washi (Traditional Japanese Paper).
