Shimazu Tadatsune, who was arguably the best performer in the invasion of Korea, once called Yukimura the "number one warrior in Japan."

The Oyabone (outer ribs) are made of iron, forged in the very same Gifu, and the Nakabone (inner ribs) are made of fine blackened Kyoto bamboo.
