Utagawa Kuniyoshi 歌川 國芳 (1798~1861) was one of the last great masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e (woodblock printing) style of art in the Edo period.

This piece is titled Miyamoto Musashi 美家本武蔵 and features the famous Samurai fighting and killing a giant monster bat.
