According to the genuine Hon Higo, our Koshirae features a blackened and rounded Higo style Kashira which perfectly matches with a nice blackened Fuchi. Special Series Toshin, the firm and perfectly balanced thick blade gives an authenticate Shinken aspect and feeling to this Iaito.

• Weight w/o the Saya: 900 g approx (2.45 Shaku).
• Blade: High quality reinforced zinc, aluminium alloy*, available from 2.2 to 2.8 Shaku.
• Tsuka (handle) length: available from 8 Sun to 10 Sun.
• Genuine Samegawa (ray skin), available in white and black.
• Tsukamaki (wrapping): available in selected cotton, silk.
• Mekugi peg: selected bamboo.
• Saya: selected Ho wood, available in Kuroro (black gloss finish), Kuroishime (black matte finish), Chaishime (brown matte finish).
• Sageo: available in selected cotton, silk.
• Soft cloth sword bag is included.
• Handmade in Gifu, Japan.

The Iaito is constructed only by Japanese craftsmen in Gifu, not created by either non-Japanese labor or by mass production system: please allow us 6-8 weeks for the production.

*A zinc /aluminium alloy is not made for cutting or any action which involves any impact to another object.
