     Negishi Ryu is the most famous traditional school of Japanese Shurikenjutsu, it exerted a big influence upon the Japanese martial arts. There are many followers and varieties of it in Japan, and there are also many kinds of Negishi Ryu Shuriken. The traditional special characteristic of these Shuriken is the animals hear utilization in the tail part.
     This is one of the typical Negishi Ryu Shuriken. There is a wild boar’s hair in the tail, firmly wrapped by cotton string and finished by Japanese lacquer painting.
