Description

In the Japanese mythology Raijin is the God of thunder and lightning. He is depicted as strong Kami surrounded by several Taiko (drums) and having Bachi (stick) in each hand for making the rumbling of thunder.

The Jimbei is a traditional Japanese summer wear, very relaxing and used both as a casual and home wear.

Made of thin 100% cotton fabric with traditional and typical “open Jimbei sleeve”, which makes it extremely comfortable and cool, and by this reason it is very popular being used as a pajama too.

Made of 100% cotton.
The short pants are included.
Available in navy and grey.

Please note that it’s not printed on the Jimbei but featured in the back using the traditional technique called Bassen (discoloration technique) which consists in discoloring, removing the dye in details of the fabric leaving the shape of the design.

The Bassen is still being used in these days for putting the Kamon (family crest) on the Kimono.
