This Yamato Extra Light Kendo Gi is made using special, patented fabric developed by the world renowned Japanese company TORAY, Inc. This fabric is made using a unique hollow thread. Each thread after TORAY, Inc exclusive process is 45% hollowed, making this Double Layered Kendo Gi unbelievably light to such a point to be almost 50% lighter than any other Double Layer Kendo Gi.
Also, thanks to this exclusive hollowed fiber the sweat evaporates faster than a conventional Kendo Gi keeping a dry and light feeling.
