Description

This Samue features the well known Mitsudomoe Kamon on the back. Originally the Mitsudomoe was associated with Hachiman (war deity of Shinto) and because of this became very popular among the Samurai as their traditional symbol.

Made with 100% cotton dobby fabric that features a loose but elegant weaving pattern offering a discreet and original touch to the whole Samue.
  • Made of 100% cotton.
  • The pants are included.
  • Available only in dark navy.

Please note that it’s not printed on the Samue but featured in the back using the traditional technique called Bassen (discoloration technique) which consists in discoloring, removing the dye in details of the fabric leaving the shape of the design.

The Bassen is still being used in these days for putting the Kamon (family crest) on the Kimono.
