Maeda Keiji (1543 — 1612) was a Japanese samurai of the
Sengoku Period through early Edo Period, born to the
Takigawa Clan of Owari.It’s says that Maeda Keiji riding his horse into battle and brandishing a
Yari, he made a splendid show of force and courage. Due in part to Keiji's actions the Uesugi forces were able to retreat largely intact.
Keiji's armour can still be seen today at the
Miyasaka Museum.
